The Dispatch Trucking Software is generally used for tracking and assigning drivers. The dispatch software has facilities to list all un-dispatched freight bills – that is to which no POD is assigned yet. The dispatch software has been designed for the accurate processing of account details, which would be required at every step of the on going business process, right from the start to end.
Loose and Less Than Truck Load (LTL)
The manifest module of the LTL Dispatch Software helps to create manifest for one’s shipments. With the manifest module one can create a new manifest or edit an existing one. It has options to remove a selected manifest if not in use. The manifest section also has options to assign agent, trucker, and cost of the shipment. With this module one can print summary or detail manifests, required. The module has options to print labels with barcode option and view the manifest before taking a printed copy. Manifest reports (by date, origin, and destination) can be generated for tracking while the cost report generated helps to list the profit and loss for each shipment.
Intermodal and Container
The Availability Section of the trucking dispatching software facilitates one to enter information regarding availability of containers such as ETA, available date, customer appointment date, steamship line, last free date, OBL, USDA, AGI, and remark.
The Dispatch Report Section of the trucking dispatch software provides reports which show all open containers that need to be picked up. The report is generally populated once when the container is clear and ready to be picked up. You clear the container for pickup in availability module.
The Notify Empty Section of the dispatching software assists one to let the dispatcher know whether the container is empty and if it is ready to be picked up and returned. The Remark Section of the software facilitates one to keep track of communication between your people and the customer. The dispatcher can input any additional details in this field if required.
Once the container is marked ‘empty’, the system goes on to populate the notify-empty report. The respective container features in the report until the dispatcher assigns a driver to pickup the empty container and decides on the date and time of the pickup.
Driver Assignment Section of the transportation dispatch software facilitates the dispatcher to assign multiple drivers. With this section the dispatcher can input container number, driver from already populated dropdown list, date, type (Delivery to warehouse, deliver to customer, and return), base commission, and other commission. The module displays all the drivers involved in the delivery, once the required information (Pro# or container#) is provided. Also, the module provides options to edit any existing driver assignment and commission distribution. Driver commission is provided to list all the activities regarding a selected driver for a specified time period.
The Per diem Section of the transportation dispatching software can be used to create per diem invoicing. The return date of the container and delivered date can be searched by giving the container number. Once the user enters steamship line, the module verifies the number of free days (Read from steamship line setup) and calculates demurrage.
The Per diem Section also provides options to create Per diem report for a specific period of time for tracking.
Once steamship line is entered, it then checks for number of free days (Read from steamship line setup) and calculates demurrage. Dates and charges can be overwritten by the operator.
Per diem report is provided for a time period of time for tracking.
